Dell Inspiron 15R Review | My analysis

If you’re looking for a reasonably priced and yet a perfect laptop for everyday tasks Dell Inspiron 15R is  your choice. It has a powerful processor (Intel Core i3) and enough ram for fast processing (4Gb ram). If you’re aiming to replace your old computer for Dell Inspiron 15R you’re definitely going to see big difference in speed.

The keyboard is very easy to use as it is ergonomically designed (with 10-key pad) that gives your fingers plenty of space to stretch out and get comfortable. It weights less than 6 pounds and comes with a 15.6-inch high-definition display (with TrueLife high-gloss/anti-reflective technology). It’s also a nice looking laptop (I really liked the brushed metal appearance of the smudge-proof palm rest).

The battery life is pretty good considering the size of the laptop, a number pad is included (which is very convenient),  the trackpad is smooth and feels great, the sound quality is nice, has 4 USB ports and an HDMI port too. The screen is great too (LED backlight).

Overview

So my final overview is that Dell Inspiron 15R has very good specs for the price: Core i3 4gb ram, 640gb hd, 64 bit OS, webcam, etc. It has a pretty good construction, nice battery life, it is lightweight,  has a very nice design and color, its fast and the fan is quiet. I give two thumbs up for this laptop, it’s much better than the previous Inspiron units.

Negatives

Here I’ll point some drawbacks I found for Dell Inspiron 15R because after all no unit is perfect. Despite the fact that this is minor I found some people complaining about the size of the number pad (a bit small). Not every laptop has a number pad and I got to say that I use it a lot so even if it’s a bit small it’s still a quality.

Another minor drawbacks on Dell Inspiron 15R I found is that it comes with a bit of bloatware and it’s not the quickest to boot up. The bloatware is minor and the boot up is still fast so I for one don’t bother.
